Bruno Fernandes has been urging Manchester United to complete a deal for Sporting Lisbon's Nuno Mendes, in a move that could see Alex Telles used as a bargaining chip.
The Lisbon left-back has impressed this season and United are eyeing him up as a potential addition when the transfer window re-opens this summer.
Fernandes, formerly of Sporting Lisbon, has been pushing for the Red Devils to make an offer for Mendes - but Telles could leave Old Trafford after just one season as a result, according to Record.

United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will already feel comfortable with his left-back options.
