Manchester United Supporters Trust (MUST) have welcomed the news that the Glazer family are finally ready to sell the club after 17 years of ownership – but have sent out a warning to any potential new owners that they must be ready to invest.
The unpopular American owners - who have faced significant fan opposition during their tenure - sensationally announced on Tuesday that they would be willing to sell the club after 17 years in charge.
In a statement the club said the board of directors were starting a process 'designed to enhance the club's future growth' with the intention of maximising opportunities on and off the pitch.
