Manchester United Supporters Trust SLAM the club for their 'far too long' investigation into Mason Greenwood, claiming it 'reflected very poorly' on the Red Devils - but admit the right decision was eventually reached

The Manchester United Supporters Trust has criticised the club for their handling of their protracted investigation into Mason Greenwood but said the right decision had been reached.

United announced on Monday that Greenwood, 21, will leave Old Trafford after they concluded a near seven-month review into the striker.

Greenwood, who was arrested in January 2022 on suspicion of a number of offences including attempted rape, will not play for the club again and is likely to leave on loan or see his contract settled.

The forward has not featured for United since his arrest and the club launched their own probe after the charges were dropped in February.
