Manchester United supporters have left touching tributes outside Old Trafford to remember the late club great Nobby Stiles.
Stiles died on Friday aged 78 after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's and the tragic news was greeted with an outpouring of emotion from across the sporting world.
The legendary midfielder made 395 appearances for United during his career - and fans have turned up at the ground in their droves to lay down flowers and scarves.
A member of the 1966 group of heroes who won England's first, and only, World Cup, Stiles was revered for his iconic post-match celebrations at Wembley and combative style.
