All United teams paid their respects at matches throughout last week which culminated at Craven Cottage on Remembrance Sunday afternoon– the final men’s match before the break for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
The signing of the Armed Forces Corporate Covenant is the latest initiative by the club to support the Armed Forces community, aimed at kicking unfairness towards the military out of football.
The Covenant is a commitment by the nation ensuring that those who serve or who have served in the Armed Forces, and their families, are treated fairly and provided with opportunity to access work after they leave the armed forces.
