Manchester United reportedly sent scouts to watch Adrien Rabiot during France's Euro 2020 defeat on Monday night.
The tournament favourites crashed out of the European Championship following a 5-4 penalty shootout defeat by Switzerland in the last 16.
Rabiot, who found himself operating in a new role for Didier Deschamps' side, will not only be disappointed with the result but also his performance amid the summer transfer window.
Having been asked to play at left wing-back in a 3-4-1-2 formation, Rabiot was under the watchful eye of a United scout and failed to prove his worth during their shock exit.
