Manchester United need to defend BETTER, insists Erik ten Hag... as the Red Devils boss urges his side to stop collapsing 'like a pack of cards'

Erik ten Hag admits Manchester United need to defend better and stop collapsing like ‘a pack of cards’.

United’s 4-3 defeat to Bayern Munich in midweek means that Ten Hag’s side have shipped 14 goals in their last five games.

There was criticism of the effort put in by some players tracking back at the Allianz Arena, with Marcus Rashford and Scott McTominay among those singled out.

Stuart Pearce commented on talkSPORT that Rashford was running like he ‘had a fridge on his back’ while fans on social media highlighted how McTominay was outpaced by the referee.
