Manchester United 'have Nathan Ake, Tyrone Mings and Alessio Romagnoli at the top of their centre back shortlist as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer eyes long-term partner for Harry Maguire'

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is eyeing up a long-term partner for Harry Maguire and has reportedly identified Nathan Ake, Tyrone Mings and Alessio Romagnoli as three candidates.

The Red Devils spent £80million on Maguire last summer to shore up their defence and the former Leicester City man is now the club captain.

United have made vast improvements since the turn of the year after a tough start to the season and Solskjaer thinks those three defenders called all help them make the next step, according to ESPN.
