However, he was forced to work indoors away from the main group again on Monday and it has been decided that his involvement would be limited so the best course of action is to return to United for assessment and rehabilitation.
The Football Association said in a statement: “Aaron Ramsdale has replaced Dean Henderson in England’s UEFA Euro 2020 squad.
“Henderson withdraws with a hip issue that would continue to limit his involvement in training throughout the tournament.
