Manchester United eyeing move for Frankfurt goalkeeper Kevin Trapp after David de Gea's AWFUL start to the season, with Yann Sommer and Asmir Begovic also considered for No 3 goalkeeper under Erik ten Hag

Manchester United are interested in Eintracht Frankfurt goalkeeper Kevin Trapp.

United's priority is to sign Antony from Ajax and Cody Gakpo from PSV Eindhoven while they have yet to give up on a deal for Barcelona's Frenkie de Jong.

However, a third keeper is also wanted to put pressure on David de Gea and Tom Heaton. Yann Sommer from Borussia Monchengladbach has also been considered as has Asmir Begovic of Everton.

Trapp has made 160 appearances for the German club since joining from PSG in 2018

Germany international Trapp, 32, has two years left on contract. Ajax, meanwhile, have sounded out a potential move for Chelsea's Hakim Ziyech as they await a new offer from United for Antony.
