Manchester United are eyeing a summer swoop for Napoli right back Giovanni Di Lorenzo and have made contact with the player's agent, according to reports.
Di Lorenzo has been an integral part of the Italian side this season, both under Carlo Ancelotti and now Gennaro Gattuso.
Calcio Napoli 24 report that United have been alerted to his talents due to his versatility to play across the back four, and they have made contact with his representatives over a potential switch to Old Trafford.
At this stage, it is understood United have only dipped their toes in the water and are keen to find out more, as opposed to a concrete approach and offer.
