Manchester United captain Wayne Rooney calls for retrospective ban against Tyrone Mings but defender denies stamping on Zlatan Ibrahimovic

Manchester United captain Wayne Rooney has called for the FA to take retrospective action on Tyrone Mings' after the Bournemouth defender appeared to stamp Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Ibrahimovic appeared fortunate to escape a red card for the first-half incident during Bournemouth's 1-1 Premier League draw at Old Trafford, after the Swede retaliated by elbowing Mings.

Bournemouth midfielder Andrew Surman was then dismissed for a second yellow card by referee Kevin Friend for pushing Ibrahimovic to the ground in the aftermath.
