Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer 'instructed to offload out of favour trio Marcos Rojo, Phil Jones and Sergio Romero in bid to free up funds to sign a centre-back'

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has reportedly been told he must trim his Manchester United squad by three players before aiming to strengthen his defence in the summer.

United have been looking for a new centre-back to help partner Harry Maguire and have been linked with a move for Sevilla's £60million rated star Jules Kounde.

Kounde has caught the eye of plenty of potential suitors this season after putting in impressive performances in LaLiga, with Bayern Munich, Juventus and Real Madrid all interested.
