Manchester United 2-1 Barcelona (agg 4-3 agg): Erik ten Hag's men fight back to reach the Europa League last-16 as Fred and Antony inspire famous second-half turnaround against Spanish giants after Robert Lewandowski's opener from the penalty spot

Manchester United came from behind to see off Barcelona and book their place in the Europa League round of 16 at Old Trafford on Thursday night.

Erik ten Hag's men were dealt an early blow in their play-off decider when Bruno Fernandes was judged to have brought down Alejandro Balde inside the box, allowing Robert Lewandowski to fire home from the penalty spot and move Barca 3-2 ahead on aggregate.

But United produced a spirited comeback after the break to dump the Spanish club out of Europe, first drawing level through Fred two minutes into the second half before Antony tucked away the winner 17 minutes from time.
