Man Utd Supporters Trust explain Old Trafford break-in protest in open letter to Joel Glazer

The Manchester United Supporters Trust have again written to the club’s chairman Joel Glazer urging him to listen to their complaints following Sunday’s protest at Old Trafford.

The demonstration against United’s American owners turned ugly as fans broke into the ground and clashed with police, forcing the postponement of the game against Liverpool.

MUST said it doesn’t condone the violence but called for the Glazers to engage with fans who feel ‘ever more sidelined and ignored’.

The letter reads: ‘The Fans Forum wrote to you and your senior management team on Friday.
