Man United's Women's Champions League debut against PSG will be shown on MUTV after club admit mix-up over UEFA broadcast rights... as fans ask why historic match isn't being played at Old Trafford

Manchester United's debut in the Women's Champions League will be broadcast by the club after they incorrectly said UEFA rules prevented them from doing so.

Marc Skinner's team play Paris Saint-Germain in the second qualifying round of the competition at Leigh Sports Village on October 10.

An article on United's official club website publicising details of the game initially stated that 'MUTV cannot show the game live due to UEFA's broadcast rights.'

However, as The Athletic reported, this caused confusion among supporters who questioned why the first leg fixture couldn't be shown on United's in-house television station MUTV.
