Man United target Jonathan David hails the Premier League as 'the best league in the world' and admits he has ambitions to play in England 'some day'... as the Canadian forward backs his nation to 'learn and grow' after their World Cup exit

Canada striker Jonathan David believes the Premier League 'is the best league in the world' amidst interest from Manchester United.

Canada's World Cup journey came to an end after their final match in Group F, a 2-1 defeat to group winners Morocco, confirmed their place at the bottom of the group.

Lille forward David, who started from the substitutes bench before coming on in the 60th minute, has been linked with the likes of Arsenal, Newcastle United, but most prominently, Manchester United, who are searching for a new man to lead the line for them after the acrimonious departure of Cristiano Ronaldo.
