Marcus Rashford can leave Manchester United for £40million this summer, but Aston Villa do not have first option on the England star.
Villa signed Rashford on loan for the rest of the season in January, and can make the deal permanent for £40m when it runs out at the end of next month.
But it’s understood there is nothing to stop other clubs buying him for the same price if United and the player agree to the move.
Rashford is under contract at Old Trafford until 2028, and as it stands is planning to return to Carrington for pre-season training at the start of July.
