Manchester United are reportedly finalising a proposal to sign Porto goalkeeper Diogo Costa depsite the goalkeeper stating that he would like to stay in Portugal.
Portugal's first-choice stopper has been linked with United for some time now but attempted to play down the reports last week.
When asked about the speculation, he said: 'That's the internet. It is a happiness and an honour to play for my favourite club. What they say is what they say, there is nothing concrete, I have a contract until 2027 and I hope to continue, let's see.
However, Cofina Media claim United are in the latter stages of preparing an offer with Porto in need of funds before the financial year closes on June 30.
