Lukaku eyes the FA Cup after Sevilla defeat

Romelu Lukaku has admitted Manchester United were guilty of profligacy against Sevilla and did not deserve to progress to the UEFA Champions League’s last eight, yet the Belgian remains determined and states the Reds must now focus on the Emirates FA Cup.

Following a 0-0 first-leg draw in Spain last month, the Reds needed to win at the Theatre of Dreams but disappointingly slipped to a 2-1 defeat on the night, after visiting substitute Wissam Ben Yedder scored a dramatic second-half brace before Lukaku pulled a goal back, ultimately to no avail.

The Belgium international spoke to BT Sport after the final whistle and began by describing the scenes in the home dressing room, where the players were understandably gutted.
