Darren England and Dan Cook – the VAR and his assistant at fault for disallowing Liverpool's opener at Tottenham on September 30 – will return to Premier League action this weekend.
The pair are being eased back in before they are trusted with resuming duties at Stockley Park.
England will be fourth official for Brentford versus Burnley, while Cook will be one of the assistants running the line at Sheffield United against Manchester United.
The PGMOL dropped the duo from the refereeing roster after they failed to let Luis Diaz's goal stand at Tottenham.
