Liverpool poised to seal deal for Senegal defender

Liverpool are closing in on deal to sign left sided centre back Mor Ndiaye who played for Senegal at the recent U17 World Championships in Qatar.

Ndiaye currently plays for Amitié FC, which is the club in Senegal which former Chelsea striker Demba Ba invested in.

If the signing is completed, Ndiaye will arrive as an U21 development player under the guidance of coach Rob Page.

His arrival would in turn create loan opportunities for current players in this age group such as Amara Nallo in keeping with Liverpool's strategy of establishing development pathways for their youngsters.
