Lisandro Martinez has returned to Manchester after celebrating his World Cup win with Argentina.
The Manchester United centre back had been invited to stay on in his homeland for the wedding of close friend Nicolas Tagliafico, the Lyon and Argentina left back, but returned to England to resume duties with his club earlier this week.
He missed Tuesday night's win over Nottingham Forest as Erik ten Hag felt he would not be ready after enduring a longer trip back than fellow World Cup finalist Raphael Varane.
The 24-year-old defender missed Tagliafico and Caroline Calvagni's wedding reception after returning to Manchester earlier this week.
