Lingard and Rashford visit injured pop fans

Manchester United duo Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard followed in the footsteps of Ariana Grande when they went to meet some of the pop superstar's young fans in hospital.

The two players went to Manchester Children's Hospital on Monday and spent time with some of the youngsters who were injured in the terror attack following Grande's recent concert at the city's Arena. The Reds pair, who could both play for England this weekend, handed out signed United shirts and posed for pictures with the young patients.

Lingard, who shared four photos from the hospital visit on his Instagram account, commented: "It's been a good day visiting the children who were recently affected in the Manchester incident.
