The 23-year-old has caught the eye with his composure in goal having signed for the Reds on the last day of the summer transfer window.
He has been serenaded with a tongue-in-cheek chant at some games, with fans humourously asking if the Belgian stopper – who recently made his international debut – is the Great Dane in disguise.
While Lammens is still very much at the beginning of his journey with United, he appreciates the thought behind the song.
“It was really nice to hear it already in the first game [against Sunderland],” he said.
