The 23-year-old signed for the Reds from Royal Antwerp on transfer deadline day, arriving with a stellar reputation from Belgium, where his coolness has been noted.
Lammens began his professional career with Club Brugge before joining Antwerp, for whom he made 44 appearances last season as they secured European qualification. He made 173 saves in 2024/25, more than any other keeper across Europe’s top 10 leagues.
“I think if you want to be a good goalkeeper, you have to be a rock behind the defence,” he told us in part two of his signing interview at Carrington.
