Casey Stoney's squad open the campaign with a derby against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on 17 September (kick-off 15:00 BST), after storming to the Women's Championship title last season.
Speaking to club media for the first time, the midfielder revealed who is helping her settle in, explained what she's looking forward to the most, and outlined the challenges that lie in store ahead of the new season.
“It’s exciting to be here,” Hayley said. “Having just started pre-season, it’s exciting to get to know the girls and really get a feel for the club. This is definitely a hungry group of players and a great group of girls as well, so I am really looking forward to getting going.
