Paul Pogba has been ruled out for almost two months after undergoing surgery on his right knee on Monday, according to reports.

The surgeon who performed Pogba's operation revealed that he and the Juventus doctors had agreed a 'necessary' recovery time of eight weeks before the Frenchman can return to first-team training.

Pogba has yet to feature for the Italian giants since making his free move to the Allianz Stadium from Manchester United this summer.

According to L'Equipe, the surgeon said the following after Pogba went under the knife: 'In agreement with the Juventus doctors, we have indicated a necessary time of eight weeks so that Pogba can return to the team and resume collective training.
