Jose Mourinho claims he cannot understand the criticism he has faced in the wake of Manchester United's Champions League defeat by Sevilla.
United were dumped out at the last-16 stage after they were beaten 2-1 at Old Trafford by the La Liga outfit earlier this month.
In the wake of the defeat, Mourinho was criticised for his side's lack of ambition – particularly given the £300million he has splashed on attacking players such as Romelu Lukaku.
But the United boss says people with 'a brain' and 'common sense' appreciate his side are in a period of transition.
