Jordan Henderson ramps up plans to leave Al-Ettifaq after lacklustre seven-month stint in Saudi Arabia... whilst Jesse Lingard sacks his agent after the former Man United player fails to find new club

Jordan Henderson is expected to underline his desire to leave Al-Ettifaq in a meeting with the club on Sunday.

Ajax are among the clubs keen on the 33-year-old. There is also interest from Germany, Italy and the Premier League.

The former Liverpool star only made the move to the Saudi Pro League during the summer window, but the club has struggled in recent months under head coach Steven Gerrard and currently sits eighth in the table after over two months without a win.

Free agent Jesse Lingard has sacked his agents as he looks to secure a deal with a new club.
