Inter Milan activate clause to extend Ashley Young's contract by a year after the ex-Manchester United star makes instant impression in Serie A

Ashley Young is set to be rewarded with a one-year contract extension by Inter Milan after impressing following his January arrival from Manchester United.

The 34-year-old moved to the Nerazzurri in January and has played five Serie A matches, contributing one goal and two assists for his new side.

Young joined the Serie A side on an initial six-month deal, but he has convinced boss Antonio Conte to hand him a fresh deal.
