The left-back, who is closing in on a career milestone of 300 club appearances (228 of them for United, prior to the restart), gives an exclusive interview – which can only be read first in the pages of Inside United – looking back on some of the career milestones that have brought him to this point, including his first-team debut for Southampton aged just 16 (“first professional game, different intensity”), his first game for the Reds (“a lot of nerves”), maiden senior goal (“I had to wait a long time…”) and other landmark occasions.
