The side will play their first game of the season proper at Leigh Sports Village.
Unfortunately, MUTV are unable to show the game live due to broadcasting restrictions which mean a Premier League 2 fixture cannot be screened if a Premier League game is taking place at the same time.
The second game of the Premier League 2 season for United sees the Reds travel to London to take on Chelsea at Stamford Bridge with kick-off at 19:00 BST on Friday 20 August.
A tough fixture against Manchester City follows. That game, originally scheduled for Friday 27 August, will now be played on Saturday 28 August.
