If England don't play Jadon Sancho, Germany should try and give him a PASSPORT, jokes former World Cup winner Lothar Matthaus... as he insists the overlooked Dortmund star has been one of the best players in the Bundesliga for the last two years

Lothar Matthaus has joked that Germany should try and steal Jadon Sancho from England if Gareth Southgate continues to refuse to play him.

The former World Cup winner was expressing his bafflement at Sancho's shunning, with the Borussia Dortmund winger managing just six minutes of Euro 2020 football so far.

Sancho, 21, has fallen far down Southgate's pecking order, with Phil Foden, Jack Grealish, Marcus Rashford and Bukayo Saka all featuring ahead of him at the tournament.
