'If all the men who take a punch from women went to the press, the world would be screwed': Ex-Manchester United assistant Carlos Queiroz sparks controversy after comments made in the wake of Colombia's Sebastian Villa being charged with domestic abuse

Former Manchester United assistant Carlos Queiroz is in hot water in Colombia after a controversial comment about domestic abuse was caught off camera.

The Portuguese boss, who is now in charge of the Colombian national team, took a press conference on Monday in which he fielded questions about Sebastian Villa, one of his players who was charged with domestic abuse earlier this year.

While his comments during the press conference remained impartial, Queiroz was then caught after the interview when the microphones were left on.
