Patrice Evra believes Cristiano Ronaldo could retire from football after Portugal's World Cup journey ended in disappointment that saw the superstar fail to achieve his 'dream' of winning the tournament.
Ronaldo, one of football's greatest ever players, is currently a free agent having had his contract at Manchester United terminated before the tournament got underway in Qatar.
Now his former teammate Evra, who played alongside Ronaldo during his first stint in Manchester, has admitted that he wouldn't be surprised to see the striker call an end to his hugely successful career.

Evra revealed that he has spoken to Ronaldo since leaving United and told Sky Sports: 'I don't know [what he will do next].
