Erik ten Hag has said he is pleased with Manchester United striker Wout Weghorst's makeshift role as a No 10 during their draw at Barcelona.
The former European champions served up a thrilling 2-2 draw in the Europa League knockout playoffs at Nou Camp on Thursday.
Ten Hag described his thought process behind the tactical positioning of Weghorst, traditionally a number nine striker, which caused Barca a number of problems.
The Dutchman, 30, started in a much deeper role behind Marcus Rashford, while Bruno Fernandes shifted to the right and Jadon Sancho played off the left.
