Veteran midfielder Juan Mata has described his new role within the Manchester United dressing room.

Mata, who joined United in 2014 from rivals Chelsea, explained that he has taken on a mentorship role at the club to help out with the young players.

The Spaniard believes that his experience in English football and dealing with the 'difficult situations' that come with it are values that boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer appreciates.
