In September, over 197,000 posts on club channels were identified as being unacceptable and automatically removed through the use of AI technology.
As part of our ongoing work to tackle discrimination, the Social Media Code provides guidance on what will not be accepted by the club as well as demonstrating the proactive role fans can play to keep social media a safe place for everyone.
The club regularly monitors all its social media channels for discriminatory or hateful comments and messages, proactively dealing with those that contravene or breach the policy.
