'He was heavily disturbed': Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel bizarrely blames the LIGHTS inside Stamford Bridge for Jorginho's mistake leading to Man United's breakaway goal in 1-1 draw

Thomas Tuchel has rushed to the defence of Jorginho after the playmaker committed a blunder at Stamford Bridge to give Manchester United a soft opening goal.

The Italian - while sitting as the last man back for the Blues - opted to try and bring down a breakaway aerial ball by United with his first touch... only to get it horribly wrong and play summer signing Jadon Sancho through on goal.

Knowing what had happened, Jorginho immediately gave up on the ball, knowing catching the counter-attacking speed of Sancho would be impossible - with the England youngster then slotting coolly past Edouard Mendy.
