Jason Manford has revealed he tried to stop a 20-man brawl between Manchester united and City fans on derby day in Greater Manchester.
The stand up comedian, 36, arrived at Stockport station after watching the Manchester derby at the Etihad Stadium.
Manford found himself caught up in a violent clash between Manchester United and Manchester City fans who had begun to scrap outside the station.
A boy of 13 shoved a man in his sixties so hard he fell and knocked his head on the floor.
As the fight escalated Manford heard a little girl begging her father to stop fighting.
