Harry Maguire's retrial has been set for February 7 in Greece - three-and-a-half years after his conviction for assault and attempted bribery.

Maguire is going on holiday after playing his final game of the season in England's Euro 2024 qualifying win over North Macedonia at Old Trafford on Monday night.

But his arrest during a family break on the Greek island of Mykonos in August 2020 is still hanging over the Manchester United captain.

Maguire was handed a suspended jail sentence of 21 months and 10 days by a court on the island of Syros after he was found guilty of assaulting police, resisting arrest and attempted bribery.
