Gore named Under-21s Player of the Year

The 18-year-old has enjoyed an impressive campaign for Mark Dempsey's side, making a total of 26 appearances across both our Under-21 and Under-18 teams this season.

Captaining the Reds for large parts of our Premier League 2 season, the youngster has contributed two goals and three assists, while also training with Erik ten Hag's first-team squad, at times.

Gore is a regular for England's Under-18s too, having earned six caps for his country, and scored as recently as March's 3-3 draw with Denmark.

The prize is named after Haroun, who was a former director at the club, with past winners of the accolade including Nicky Butt, Darren Fletcher, John O'Shea and Andreas Pereira.
