Just last summer the Glazer family had no problem giving manager Jose Mourinho whatever he needed to sign players like Paul Pogba, Eric Bailly and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
Now it seems like the Glazers are satisfied with United being back in the Champions League and would rather save money than go out and make their first team better.
The good news is that Manchester United looked pretty good as a team for most of their tour in the United States.
But Wednesday night’s loss to Barcelona was hopefully a wake up call for Malcolm Glazer that his club is not ready to compete in the Champions League and may not even be good enough to win the Premier League.
