Glazer family 'set to snub Sir Bobby Charlton's funeral with Man United's owners fearing abuse from fans could overshadow the service'

The Glazer family will not be present at Sir Bobby Charlton's funeral, according to reports.

Sir Bobby - who is widely regarded as one of the greatest players to ever grace the game - passed away at the age of 86 following a battle with dementia last month.

He made 758 appearances for United while also earning 106 caps for his beloved country and has a stand named after him at Old Trafford.

United staff and supporters have been mourning the club legend since his passing and the world will bid farewell to him at a service in Manchester on Monday.
