Getafe are 'willing to discuss extending Mason Greenwood's stay in Spain - either on a permanent deal or another loan' - after Sir Jim Ratcliffe suggested the forward could return to Man United

Getafe are reportedly willing to discuss extending Mason Greenwood's stay.

Greenwood is on loan from Manchester United and Getafe are open to a transfer or another loan after his contribution of seven goals this season.

The forward, 22, was charged with attempted rape, assault and controlling and coercive behaviour in October 2022, but the charges and case were dropped in February 2023 when key witnesses withdrew.

New partial owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe recently implied he could return after his loan spell, contrasting with the club's commitment in the summer to make him restart his career 'away from Old Trafford'.
