Go Ahead Eagles player Victor Edvardsen has apologised after being accused of 'bullying' Manchester United target Angelo Stiller.
Stiller and Edvardsen were in action on Thursday night as the former's Frankfurt beat Go Ahead Eagles 4-0 in the Europa League. The game was overshadowed, though, when Stiller was mocked over his appearance.
Edvardsen, 29, appeared to make a reference about Stiller's nose on the field, triggering a brief on-field scuffle and a frenzy after the game as fans and pundits alike slammed the striker.
Stiller was born with a cleft lip, which is a birth defect affecting the face and mouth.
