Jamie Carragher slammed Gary Neville for 'talking like Manchester United are a small club' after the pundit suggested his former side were 'not ready' to attack a team like Liverpool following the pair's stalemate draw on Sunday.

The Anfield clash was given much fanfare before kick-off with United top of the Premier League, but the 0-0 draw saw both side's underwhelm.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side have received praise for their upturn in fortunes this season which saw them win five of their previous seven games before the tie but failed to take advantage of a depleted Liverpool side who have struggled in recent weeks.
