Gary Neville has hit back at Mino Raiola, after the Italian super-agent claimed Manchester United had been living in Manchester City's shadow for the past few years.

On Friday, Raiola opened the door to Erling Haaland joining the Premier League champions in the summer, suggesting there was a 'big chance' his client would leave Borussia Dortmund.

City have long been interested in the Norwegian and Raiola name-checked them as one of the potential destinations.

Gary Neville hit back at Mino Raiola's claims that Manchester United have been overshadowed by Manchester City in recent years.

'Erling can and will take the next step,' he told German radio Sport1.
