'From the start I told you, he will not leave': Lyon president Jean-Michael Aulas insists Memphis Depay will NOT join Barcelona in January... despite renewed interest from the LaLiga giants due to Ansu Fati's serious injury

Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has poured cold water on suggestions Barcelona could sign Memphis Depay in January following the serious injury to Ansu Fati.

The Nou Camp giants were heavily linked with a move for the former Manchester United star in the summer, but a deal was reliant on Ousmane Dembele's exit and he refused to leave.

Now, with Fati sidelined for at least four months after undergoing surgery on his knee, it has been reported that Barcelona will try again for Depay in January.
